Charity Golf Tournament Registration NOW OPEN

Socks has just barked the latest that he has been able to dig up on the 2nd Animal Angels Charity Golf Tournament. Registration for Players and Sponsors is now open. The Tournament takes place at Frisco Lakes Golf Club on Saturday, April 28th. Deadline for Sponsors is April 1st (no foolin') and the deadline for players to register is April 14th. Great news too, you can also register ONLINE via paypal by visiting the Animal Angels Texas main website. Each member of your team is asked to complete a separate registration. And if you don't golf, please consider making a donation to our largest fundraising effort of the year. Due to difficult times faced by many animal owners in the current economy and Texas drought, Animal Angels has also opened our doors to horses...and you know they require a lot more than Socks' favorite kibble. Also please remember that we don't just help homeless animals, but also the abused and neglected...just click here and see the many needs of several dogs and a horse we hope to help in 2012. So many times, Animal Angels is the last hope for so many; and we need your help, so we can continue our fight against abuse and neglect.We'll keep you updated as new info comes in, so get those clubs and golf shoes ready! Call for Sponsorship - Save the date Frisco, TX, 28th April, 2012

Help save the lives of homeless animals by becoming a Sponsor in the 2 Annual Animal Angels Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday April 28, 2012 at Frisco Lakes Golf Club in Frisco, Texas. Tournament Highlights include: Four Person Scramble, First, Second and Third Place Winners, Longest Drive, Closest to the pin and 50/50 contests, mulligans, raffles and more. Check-‐in at 12:30 noon, Shotgun Start at 1:30pm. On The Border will be providing a wonderful buffet following play. Take part by generously donating for the prizes, becoming a Sponsor, or by golfing.

Animal Angels was established with the intent to enrich the lives of the animals that may be without shelter, food, care, or love. Located on 38 acres in Jacksboro, TX, Animal Angles is committed to assist the over 300 animals, mostly large breed dogs, regardless of age, condition or natural beauty. Whether or not these animals eventually find forever homes outside of the sanctuary, Animal Angles is dedicated to providing the unconditional love and care these animals so desperately need for as long as necessary. The objective is to raise awareness of the importance of spay and neuter procedures, stopping animal abuse and neglect, and raising the necessary funds will go to help the animals currently at the sanctuary.

During the last extreme heat and drought, Animal Angels found it necessary to add Equine to the rescued family of animals. Funds raised will go

toward providing food and medical needs to the animals, repairing aging equipment and vehicles and making improvements to the sanctuary.

“With your help, we will continue to honor and celebrate the very special life of every dog, horse, mule and donkey who finds it’s way to our gate, in need of a warm bed, some good food, medical care and love enough to last it’s whole lifetime.”

Socks here! Announcing our exciting and pawsitively fun event coming soon! Our Charity Poker Run and Party for the Paws. Check back often for further details. We are beginning the Motorcycle Ride at American Eagle Harley Davidson in Corinth. Registration begins at 8:00am. The first bike will leave at 9:00am, the last will leave at 10:30 am. And We will all be ending the ride where everyone can attend - biker or not - for our Big Party for the Paws at the Parker Bros Trail Dust in Aubrey, TX. We will have an awesome band - Up2Eleven and a fabulous special menu just for the Paw Pals! Cost is 20.00 per Driver/ 10.00 per rider. ( this includes the party) Party only is 10.00 per person. WOW 20 YEARS! ANIMAL ANGELS 20th Anniversary CELEBRATION and FUNDRAISER is happening Sunday October 9th, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00pm. Please come celebrate and continue to support the legacy of Carole Sanders, who twenty years ago had the vision, determination and heart to create Animal Angels: A Lifetime Sanctuary where homeless animals can live, love and play, in a natural setting without cages or crates, for the rest of their lives!

We will be celebrating and fundraising in Plano at Sambuca 360 Grill. $25.00 per person donation includes two free drinks and wonderful appetizers courtesy of Sambuca 360. As always there will be awesome raffle prizes and an evening filled with friends and fun!!!!

And as always, please consider posting about our event on your Facebook wall, and downloading our event flyer (from the Flyer tab) and posting it at your workplace and/or community bulletin boards. All help is appreciated to get the word out about this fun and worthwhile event.

As you know, our Charity Golf Tournament on July 9th is just right around the corner!
We still have spots for Sponsors! So If you would like to help us while promoting your business, there is still time! The deadline for Sponsoship is June 25th.

We have wonderful prizes for our 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners along with the closest to the pin, the longest drive and our 50/50 contest!

AND, of course, we have wonderful Auction/Raffle prizes including Gift Certificates to Fine Dining at Sambuca, Park Cities Club, and On The Border, Great Gift Baskets, Gift Cards to Dick's Sporting Goods, Fuzzies and more!
